Kaleidoscope - Seeing God's Wit and Wisdom in a Whole New Light By Patsy Clairmont

I just requested to review Patsy Clairmont's new book titled Kaleidoscope from BookSneeze.

This is a quirky, straight-to-the point look at the Proverbs.  In Kaleidoscope of Proverbs, Patsy Clairmont pieces together some powerful messages from God and reveals new facets of beauty, inspiration, and instruction. Written for busy women, Patsy offers brief, powerful chapters that address the key aspects of their lives, hearts, and relationships.

I can't wait to receive it!  I just read the first page online and laughed, so I'm sure I'm going to LOVE this book!

Sandi, I went to Shabby Blogs. I might not be savy enough, but I had a hard time. I did the instructions it said for the Background..."Click Add a Gadget", etc.., but it didnt look like the Preview, so I didnt continue with it. Then I went to "The Cutest Blog on the Block" and didnt have much luck there either.

  9. I feel like I am being a pest - although I am known for that - lol - but I am glad I got to meet you too.

Isn't the internet and blogging kind of mind blowning.

Here we may not know or be that close to our neighbors right next door - but we are meeting people on the blog from all over the US and sometimes we even feel closer!

God is good and provides what we need right when we need it.

    Love,
    Sandie

  13. So far I'm really enjoying Patsy's book. There's 33 short chapters, and 31 of them are based on a Proverb. She's added a lot of good questions to think about at the end of each chapter, and she calls these "Bits and Pieces. Also, at the end of each chapter, after the "Bits and Pieces", she gives some "Held to the Light" Bible scripture that pertains to what she's talking about for that particular Proverb. I love how she makes me laugh with her at things that--I must admit--I can definitely relate to!

This is not my 200 word review. I just like her wit and wisdom in this book! :)

  15. :) Thanks VKT. I dont know if it's available at stores yet. I thought I saw somewhere that it hits the stores next month though (March 2010). I think. But you know what? I sometimes wonder what to blog about (besides books), and at the end of each chapter of her book she lists several questions and I thought: "These questions would make great blog subjects." :)
